An important moment in the path we have laid out is the onboarding stage. The first day in the company helps confirm the choice that new joiners have made. We accompany future Store Managers and new colleagues in the offices to discover what we are about. On this occasion they will meet the leadership team and discover our showrooms in order to understand the key skills and the challenges we face.

Having teams trained in relation to the challenges we face is one of the goals of our training programs. Right from the first few months in the company people are included in training programs which facilitate personal and professional growth. Initiatives that range from coaching to mentoring and teambuilding accompany the development of our professional staff’s talent.

“Guaranteeing high-quality, equitable and inclusive training, and promoting continuous learning opportunities for everyone”. On the basis of this principle, OVS Spa launched the certification program of the OVS Academy and in June 2024 obtained from Intertek ISO certification for synchronous and asynchronous in-person and remote training.

The colleagues who will take on the responsibility for our stores take part in an 18-month program which will lead them to Graduation Day, a moment of celebration to share the results obtained in this first part of the journey together. During Store Management School, trainees are put to the test to acquire a full managerial role, which is central in our organisation.

In a dynamic context such as ours, we are fully convinced that the most ambitious goals are achieved thanks to valorising talent, above all that of our teams and our people.

For this reason, in OVS SPA we incentivise internal mobility programs, in line with achievement of the business goals and the needs of each team. We work to encourage an environment where it is natural to promote and valorise internal development opportunities. Whether starting from sales or office roles, there are no limits to curiosity and internal growth. Our Group incentivises experiences involving internal mobility and growth, with programs which can also lead to top positions.

The OVS Group is increasingly focussed on each person’s needs. For this reason, we launched “OVS for Me”, a program which is broken down into three macro areas, aimed at creating a working environment to support our people’s individual growth.

With the Welfare program we guarantee services to support people in their private lives. The “Welfare Credit” available can be spent on essential goods and services, leisure, personal or family care and assistance.

The Wellbeing program favours people’s wellbeing through in-company medical consultancy and digital talks, a series of meetings with experts on health and prevention.

Our focus on Parenthood supports new parents with a guide to facilitate all the administrative steps necessary to enjoy their new role as parents with greater calm. A Master course which makes it possible to appreciate how much a parent’s experience can help develop skills that are also useful at work; a series of appointments for information-sharing and discussion on the issues of the parent-child relationship.

In addition, new parents can buy clothes from the children’s collections with special discounts.

At the same time, we are implementing new organisational models for office and sales teams, which are increasingly focussed on the needs of the individual as well as of the professional person. Working hours which make it possible for people to strike a better balance between work and leisure.

In addition, we have started Bridge Generation: diversity as a value, a program of listening, discussion and inclusion to valorise differences and help grow the organisation through inclusive leadership.

The focus on people also involves the ways of working and the organisation of space. In our HQ there is a Wellness Bar specifically created to facilitate breaks and meetings in an elegantly designed environment, a multifunctional area and a fitness area where it is possible to follow pilates and yoga courses.
